BENEVOLENCE MISSION
To support his serving family and church towards expenses, but most importantly to build a memorial for Reverend, we hope you would contribute to support this cause and be part of his legacy. Our family and church is spending time to go through all of this documents and recordings to create his legacy. We want to honor his legacy by hosting a great memorial service and spending the time to convert his records into digital formats for viewings across the country and world. We are raising $20,000 to help our family contribute towards funeral expenses, but most importantly to build his legacy with social media such as YouTube, etc. As Reverend also has many friends and family across the country and into others, we are also opening this form of contribution for convenience.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT TOWARDS OUR CAUSE OF FULFILLING OUR FATHER'S LEGACY TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL TO ALL THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE WORLD. GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND MAY YOU RECEIVE MORE ABUNDANCE ONLY.

PASSING
Rev. Wameng went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2020 around 9:00 p.m. at Park Nicolett Methodist, St. Louis Park, MN. Regardless of his physical condition, we know and understand that it was God's timing and our father was ready to accept the parting. Although we are sadden by his departure, we are also joyful that he has completed his mission here on Earth and was ready to be accepted in the Kingdom of Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Sarah, two sons (Dang and Yele-Mis) and six daughters (Marie, Julie, Madala, Paxenpas, Esun, and Michelle). The eldest daughter, Mai Zoua, went to be with the Lord in the early 90s after giving birth to her youngest daughter in California. She is survived by her husband and two daughters.
AUTOBIOGRAPHY
In summary, Rev. Wameng lived a wonderful and faithful life. He served as a soldier in "The Secret War" alongside with the United States during the Vietnam War for many years and then after arriving to the USA, served as a minister for well over 30 years from Minnesota to California. Rev. Wameng is known for his love for God, family and friends. He deeply believed in serving the community and bringing inspiration and hope to people's lives. Rev. Wameng is selfless to his family and churches, charismatic to the inspired, and never giving up even if he was alone. Thousands of lives were touched by his faith, words, and personality.
He was obedient and his will to serve God was beyond extraordinary during his time. He would continue to serve from being interim pastor to senior pastor for the next 25 years between Minnesota and California. Rev. Wameng held many positions from local church to denomination headquarters. Although, he may not have received formal higher education, his wits and pure will carried him through ministry, church, and family. Rev. Wameng became a minister in the mid 80's and began his work in Minneapolis, MN. He was senior pastor of a local church that grew from a few households to hundreds before being instructed to travel to California for other ministerial's positions that was needed. His ministry in California ranged from Marysville, Yuba, Sacramento, and Fresno where there is a large concentration of Hmong communities. Ministry in California was around the early 90s to late 90s before being instructed to move back to Minnesota to pastor a church in St. Paul. Rev. Wameng moved his family back to Minnesota in the late 90s and has resided there ever since. Around 2006, Rev. Wameng then pastor his last church, Immanuel AG until now, currently located in Maplewood.
To conclude this, Rev. Wameng always enjoyed serving God, his family, and his church. Although there were many struggles and obstacles in the way, with God's guidance, he and his family always made it through all trials. Rev. Wameng always loved and cared for people no matter who they are or what happened in their lives. He has led hundreds to thousands to Christ, teaching the least to be disciplined and loving individuals. He loves teaching young people to grow up to give back to their community and live their lives to the fullest. Rev. Wameng spends so much time with elders to assure them to have faith and hope. And lastly, he strives to teach young adults to live up to their potentials. To Reverend, it was never about building wealth, power, or reputation. He lived a humble life wanting to serve others and most importantly serve God.
