In Support of Life After the Loss of Latonya
Donation protected
Hearing the screaming roars of your deeply sorrowed father as you break the news to him that his first-born daughter is dead, is not something that you can unhear.
LaTonya Johnson died today (08/22/2020)—unexpectedly. First and foremost she was a single mother to Vincent Pennix, Trindall Brown, and Ariel Brown and a grandmother to Maxwell and Trenden. They live(d) together in Latonya’s Baltimore home. She was the “Empress” of the family; the superglue that held everything together. She took on a love for Maxwell and Trenden that spread joy far and wide. Like any mother, the happiness of her children and grandchildren defined her world. She encompassed a respect for all people to which all should aspire.
LaTonya survived her sister Dana, who passed away from a brain tumor at the young age of 15. Throughout her life, she survived so much more. Today, LaTonya and Dana are survived moreover by their father Clifford Johnson and mother Liz Johnson, sisters Marcia Johnson and Felicia Johnson, and brother Felix Johnson.
Please do not allow LaTonya’s children and grandchildren to be alone in their grief. Please help in giving them the space to grieve, by narrowing for them, the financial challenges and responsibilities that they now suddenly face. I am begging you.
Funds will go towards:
- LaTonya’s funeral costs.
- Allowing LaTonya’s children and grandchildren to stay in their shared home.
- Food on the table.
- Supporting LaTonya's mother (now in the care of LaTonya’s children).
- Transportation for LaTonya’s father from Minneapolis to Baltimore.
…and finally, towards the educational futures of Vincent, Trindall, Ariel, Maxwell, and Trenden.
Thank you.
