With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved friend, Luis Carlos Portillo Licón.

Luis Carlos was much more than a friend to those of us who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a family man, a loving husband, a dedicated father, and someone who was always there for anyone who needed a helping hand, a word of encouragement, or simply his company. His passing leaves an immense void in the hearts of his wife, his family, and all his friends.

Currently, Luis Carlos is in the United States, and his family is facing the difficult process of bringing him back to Chihuahua, Chihuahua, where they wish to say their final goodbyes surrounded by the love of his family and give him the rest he deserves in his homeland.

With the goal of supporting his family during this incredibly painful time, we have created this campaign to raise funds to help cover the costs of repatriation, necessary paperwork, and funeral services.
