Liberty Varsity NAI 7’s

Hi, my name is Spencer Sorensen, the varsity captain for Liberty Rugby Club. After getting rugby taken away from us last year it was a great feeling to be back on the pitch and have the opportunity to play again, especially for seniors. Being a senior myself, watching the season come to an end and going undefeated was bitter sweet. I say this because as much as it was great to have, as a team we’re not even close to our full potential. That being said, another opportunity  has come around. The North American Invitational Sevens,  a chance to compete against some of the best High School Club teams in the region, https://www.nai7s.com . This is more than just a chance to compete due to the fact that we would be the first team from Liberty Rugby to attend the tournament. Furthermore, with the tournament being right around the corner (July 23-25) we’re in desperate need for funding. We’re trying our best to find sponsors within the short time frame but are struggling to figure out the rest. We understand how it’s last second but we wanted to make sure to put our seniors out with a bang. That being said, our goal is 10,000$. If we reach our goal we’ll be able to comfortably make this happen and see how we really rank amongst the other teams. Anything helps tremendously and we thank you for all of your help.
