It is with an extremely heavy heart that I share the shattering news I received today: we lost Johnny on Friday. 

We all met Johnny at different times, shared different relationships with him, and have different memories of him. He meant something different to all of us. But one thing I think we can all agree on is that he loved his friends, and we loved him back.

While many of us may not be able to make it to his arrangements in Florida later this week, many of us may still want to send support to Johnny's family and do something in remembrance of him.

Let’s let the Merlinas know that their Liberty family and the Class of '09 is thinking of them during this difficult time and that we will always love and never forget our dear friend, Johnny.
