!UPDATE!
Levi has suffered a set back, his blood pressure became so high he suffered a violent seziure with swelling on the brain. The medical term is called PRES (a quick Google search will fill you in). Properly working kidneys help control blood pressure. Levi was in Neuro ICU for a week, and a rehabilitation center for another week to regain strength and help him do daily living tasks while the swelling on his brain resolves.
He is currently at home now, but unable to work at this time, and we are unsure when he will become healthy enough to work. He is continuing to go to outpatient physical therapy to work on strength and balance. He has several appointments monthly out of town and no income at this time. He is unable to drive for 6 months and is dependent on family.
Its more important than ever to consider donating what you can spare to assist Levi and his family through this! Please consider helping.
Id also like to sincerely thank everyone who’s already been kind enough to donate!

My cousin Levi is having ANOTHER kidney transplant. His medical troubles began when he was only 8 years old as he was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease for which there is no cure. At 10 years old they had to remove both kidneys. For 2 years he was dependent on peritoneal dialysis requiring that he be hooked up to a machine 10 hours every night. Right before his 12th birthday Levi received a life saving donation from his Mother which finally gave him a chance at a normal childhood.
Unfortunately 7 years later Levis body rejected the transplanted kidney. He spent 2 months in the hospital as his team of doctors worked to salvage the kidney. They were unsuccessful. He has spent the last 4 years back on dialysis hoping for another chance.
Levis doctors have finally decided now is the time to receive a kidney that will allow him to live a longer, healthier and happier life!
Levi has been working full time to cover his bills and medical expenses. His medical team recommends he have 3 months of living expenses saved up prior to the procedure to cover the incurred during his upcoming hospital stay. That where YOU come in. Please find it in your hearts to donate anything you can to help ease Levi and his family through this procedure and get his life back!
