Cat911 and Weelaunee defense LA are fundraising to support the fight to save Weelaunee forest and send a contingent of folks from LA to Weelaunee land to liberate her. We also will use the funds to buy supplies for folks out Weelaunee land to continue to support their efforts.

Weelaunee is on the unceded ancestral homelands of the Muscogee Nation. Weelaunee forest is a vital and regenerative lung of (so-called) Atlanta, Georgia. This forest nourishes all people and animals in the city and regulates the temperatures, actively resisting global warming. In the call to protect our earth, our children's futures, and prevent a militarized police state, we need your help to Stop Cop City! The proposed “Cop City” which is attempting to completely destroy this ecosystem, is a massive training ground and mock neighborhood to train police and military forces, including Israeli occupation forces. The people refuse to be suppressed and surveilled; from 2021 until now, the fight continues!

In efforts to enliven this movement and bring hope for our futures, our communities need mutual aid: help gathering resources. Your contribution will provide this agency.
