My name is Karla Gonzalez and my brother Aldo was on his way to work along with our mom when suddenly ICE agents detained him. He was previously a DACA recipient but because there is so much anti-immigrant feeling and it is all up in the air, he had not renewed it. My brother Aldo is a hard worker and a college student with good grades. Our parents brought him to the U.S. when he was 2 years old and has grown up here ever since. He has been detained for the past 4 days and from what we have heard, ICE keeps pressuring him to sign papers for his deportation. If my brother gets deported, our family will be torn.
