Hello, there!
My name is Emily Pitek Clifford, and I am asking you to join me in efforts to fundraise for a non-profit that is near to my heart. Lane and Kathryn Hagan were our next door neighbors, and our daughters are only 4 days apart. Since then, our six children have grown up together and our friendship carries on through joint family vacations, hikes and trips to the zoo, among other activities.
Libby's Friends is a non-profit started by the Hagan Family in Mountain Brook, Alabama. Their daughter, Libby (6), was injured on her twelfth day of life due to a massive overdose of insulin while in the NICU. This left Libby with severe brain damage and now has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy.
Through their own experience, Lane and Kathryn Hagan know all too well the financial challenges that come with raising a child with special needs.
Their non-profit, Libby's Friends, was born out of the desire to help other families fill that financial burden. This charity assists families, who have applied to receive funds, in whatever manner that benefits their need the most.
I am asking you to donate whatever you are able to help sponsor the Libby's Friends golf tournament. All donations will be used to reach new families who need assistance.
By donating, you can help impact the lives of families who so greatly need your assistance.
