Janet and Alex took in Libby a year ago after she spent her first month of her life in the NICU. Now this sweet baby is in the hospital again. For the second time in the last few months Libby is at Alta Bates hospital in Oakland. Last time she was there they discovered she has 2 holes in her heart. They were planning to do surgery but she kept coming down with colds. On April 20th she was admitted to the Oakland's Children's hospital and has been back and forth between there and Alta Bates ever since. Now, they feel that she is finally improving so they decided to keep her in the hospital to do the heart surgery. Meaning that it could be 2 or more weeks in the hospital. This has become a hardship for Janet and Alex because they have been staying between the hospital, hotels, and a hostel. Not to mention the stress it has been on them to be away from Harper during this time. Thankfully Aisha stepped up and has been taking care of her while they are gone.

It is draining their savings, especially because Janet has not gone back to work in order to care for Libby. Eating out, gas, and housing has become incredibly expensive. Please help out if you can. This has been one of the scariest and most stressful things they have ever been through, my hope is that they won't have to also stress about money
