Libby's Heart Surgery ❤️

So honestly this page has been sitting in my drafts for days now. Some people have a hard time asking for help and I am very much one of those people. Nobody wants to admit they can't do it. My mom has reminded me that "Asking for help is okay because it takes a Village." It still makes me uncomfortable but she's right, so here it goes.

I'm a single mom with two girls. Rhea who is 16 and Libby who just turned the big 20.

My daughter Libby is having an open heart surgery next week to replace her pulmonary valve. She will be in the hospital for just over a week, then resting for a couple weeks at home before starting her cardiac rehabilitation. These appointments leading up to this and the actual surgery are all taking place in Portland. I will be taking some time off work to be there for her through this process of course. I'm just trying to ensure that this is financially possible as well because this will be an unpaid leave from work.

I can't imagine another scenario where I'm not there by here side through this process. The financial help would go towards transportation, rent, utilities, food, as well as anything else Libby may need to be comfortable through this procedure.

We would be incredibly grateful for any available help, I promise you that.
