Help Libby beat cancer!

Anyone who's ever met Libby (Elizabeth) Dorn has been swept away by her warmth and charisma. Libby has devoted her life to teaching young and old alike about our environment and how to care for it. You may have encountered her as a student visiting Fallen Timbers Environmental Center, where she worked for many years or at Trees for Tomorrow where she is currently employed. Wherever you met Libby, you know she is an amazing, unforgettable woman who is always willing to go the extra mile for anyone in need.

Now she is in need of YOUR prayers and support. Libby was diagnosed with breast cancer a number of years ago. After going through extensive chemo and radiation, the cancer was gone. Unfortunately, the cancer is back and along with it a bone cancer called myelodysplastic syndrome, which causes the bone marrow to stop producing healthy cells.

Libby is a fighter with a strong faith in God and is not about to give up without exploring every option for treatment. These treatments, of course, will be difficult and will not be without significant cost. She does have insurance but we all know there is much that doesn't cover. 

While Libby has spent her life giving to the community and our environment, it is time that we GIVE to Libby.  Please consider giving in any way that you can whether that be your prayers, positive thoughts or financially.
