At LIBBY Projects + Editions, we’ve built something truly special: Buffalo’s first creative studio specializing in Risograph and screen printing. Over the past year, we’ve seen how introducing Risograph to our city has sparked excitement among artists and designers, giving them access to a vibrant and sustainable medium for their work.

But running an independent print house comes with its challenges. From maintaining and repairing specialized equipment to sourcing high-quality, eco-friendly supplies, every step requires significant resources and expertise. As a small business focused on accessibility and innovation, we need your help to keep LIBBY Projects thriving and to expand our reach even further.

Buffalo is rich in creativity, but many artists and designers struggle to find the resources and community they need after graduation. Secondary art spaces like LIBBY Projects play a vital role in bridging this gap, offering students and emerging creatives a place to experiment, learn, and grow.

Since opening our doors, we’ve:

Hosted free public open studios and workshops.
Introduced dozens of local artists to Risograph printing.
Produced collaborative projects and editions that amplify underrepresented voices.

We’re passionate about continuing this work and making these tools and opportunities accessible to even more people in our community. Your support ensures that we can grow our offerings, sustain affordable rates, and bring the magic of Risograph printing to new audiences.

Looking Ahead: LIBBY Projects in 2025

As we move into 2025, our vision is to expand LIBBY Projects’ reach and impact. We plan to host and attend more exhibitions, fairs, and markets, providing a platform to highlight the incredible work coming out of Buffalo’s art community.

We’re also looking to enhance our services, including adding new Risograph colors to our palette and possibly welcoming a work-study assistant to help with studio operations. These steps will allow us to better serve our community, foster new collaborations, and bring even more creative opportunities to Buffalo.
