Liane's ALS

Hello All,

My Name is Tim and I am fundraising to cover medical costs and non medical cost to take care of my wife, Liane.

Liane and I are high school sweethearts, meeting in 1985. She is the love of my life.

In March of this year she was officially diagnosed with ALS/Lou Gehrigs. She has steadily declined since. She is currently in the Complex Transitional Care unit of Georgetown Hospital.

There is and will be costs that we can not afford. A kind friend paid $231 dollars to get her TV activated for the month. Yes, that's right! That is the only thing that will keep her sanity during times of no visitors.

We are hoping to get her into palliative care, which OHIP will only cover a portion. This will be a great burden on myself and my two sons. They have been great but I don't want to put a financial burden on them.

I am asking for financial assistance to make Liane as comfortable as possible during her final days. It may not be tomorrow but the day is coming.

They call this the "No Hope Disease". I can't give her hope but with your help, I can give her piece of mind.

Please help our family to achieve this goal.
