Donation protected
My name is Kelly Jones-Dempewolf, Nicole Davis and I are creating this page, in hopes of helping our dear friend Liane Curtiss-Elliot. Liane was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California and moved to Maui, Hawaii in 1990. She is a loving daughter, sister, aunt, dedicated mother to her 3 sons and granddaughter, and an amazing friend to many far and wide. She worked hard, raised her family, and built a wonderful life in Maui.
As many of you know, Maui has/is being ravaged by devastating wildfires. These fires are being considered the 2nd deadliest fire in US history within the last century and it has taken her home and everything in it. Along with losing her home, the destructive fire has also taken her livelihood, Kimo's, most of Lahaina town and so much more. Liane worked at Kimo's for almost 29 years providing outstanding service, laughter and cherished memories for innumerable travelers and locals alike throughout the years. As this tragedy unfolds, Liane has shared how blessed she and her family are to be unharmed when so many have lost friends and family.
While I can not fathom the pain, grief, and trauma this disastrous loss has brought Liane, we...you and I, can help. I can not change her plight by myself and am reaching out for your help. If you are able, please help Liane through this difficult time in her life by donating whatever you are able. If you are unable, please share this page in hopes that others may join in the effort to assist Liane. The funds raised will be used to help provide for her immediate needs of housing, food, clothing and the many unforeseen expenses she will incur during the lengthy process of rebuilding her home.....and life on Maui.
