Lian is a yoga master, healer, shaman, small business owner, one of my best friends and someone who would rather rough it than ask for help from anyone. However, this week, she was hit with the devastating news that she'd need to get emergency surgery for a life-threatening issue. Without the surgery, Lian is at risk for nerve damage or even damage to her brain. I know she would never ask for help on her own, so I'm doing it for her.

Lian doesn't get sick pay as a small business owner. To grow her business, she's been working seven days a week for years to run her yoga practice, get additional training, learn Reiki, market herself, and much more. The recovery time for the surgery could take more than two weeks - it depends on what doctors find when they perform the surgery. As Lian's friend, I'd like her to focus on her healing and getting support around the emotional news of unexpected surgery. However, I know the worst part of this diagnosis for Lian has been the sleepless nights surrounding how she'll support herself with weeks of missed work. For Lian to rest and recover, she needs some financial support.

The money I'm asking for would help cover Lian's rent, the rent on her studio, some medical expenses, food, Lyft/Uber if she cannot drive while healing, and any other basic needs she might have while she's recovering.
