Most of you have seen all that Liam has been through in the past few months. In September, he was hit with pneumonia and his very first hospital stay. We thought that was scary and then Tuesday we were proven wrong. Our sweet boy went from bouncing around being fun and silly to his eye being swollen completely shut and the other slowly closing. There was an abscess on his eye that needed surgically drained, his sinus cavity was filled with fluid, he has a blood clot on his brain, and he needed a 2nd set of ear tubes. If we didn’t do the surgery he would lose his eye/eye sight or worse… The IV medication they put him on will cost a minimum of 10k with the home healthcare nurse, he has an upcoming MRI to check on the blood clot, his medication is $1600 a month until it all clears, and none of that includes the hospital stays, surgeries, and tests he needed.
