Liam's Lifeline: Hosted by Berlin Police Assoc.
Donation protected
A member of the Berlin Police family is in need of assistance! One-year-old Liam Boncek was recently diagnosed with Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH), a very rare disease (1-2 in a million) that requires prolonged treatment and frequent hospital stays. Liam is expected to endure chemotherapy treatments for the next several years. This will require his parents to take frequent unpaid leave from work and have expensive medical cost shares as well. Liam has an older brother, Logan, for which his parents will have unexpected and last-minute childcare needs and costs.
Liam is part of the Berlin Police family as his mom, Alicia, works in the Berlin Police Department Records Office. She works behind the scenes to help the Police Department serve the citizens of Berlin. Many of you may have seen her at the Records desk over the years assisting you with reports, now she and her family need your assistance. Liam's Dad is self-employed and every day he is not at work is a lost day of pay. With Liam's frequent treatments, both parents have been forced to take multiple unpaid days off of work. The Berlin Police Association sponsors this fundraiser to help our family through this incredibly trying time. Your support is greatly appreciated!
