Liam's Lego Drive

Liam is now entering the last phase of his treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia/Lymphoma and has been such a fighter and a true warrior. Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC has been phenomenal with his care and treatment. We cannot thank the doctors, nurses, and staff enough for all they have done. They are now and will forever be an extension to our family.
Over the course of his treatment, he has met some friends along the way. Either by helping another child through a difficult time, playing video games intensely during treatment so everyone could hear him, or through building Lego.
Lego has always been a passion of Liam's and for those that know him well, he often shows you his latest creation or set that he has just finished. Once diagnosed Lego started to play another important role, allowing him to retain his fine motor skills while also providing therapy to take his mind off of things and go to a place of creativity and imagination.
Liam wants to give that feeling to all the kids at Children's National. We are asking for cash donations to purchase as many sets as we can, but our goal is 240 sets by end of June. Once we reach our goal, we will take Liam shopping so he can pick out and deliver the sets personally to the 4th Floor East at Children's National. These sets will be given out to other children fighting this unforgiving disease allowing them fun, creativity, and bring a smile to their sweet faces. Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated.
