Since the time he could walk, Liam has loved landscaping.

He owns all the toy tools and machines and has enjoyed pretending to do landscape work whenever he could.

He even dressed up as a landscaper for Halloween when he was three and drove around our neighborhood on his tractor. He still tells you that he wants to be a professional hockey player AND a landscaper when he grows up. At just 8 years old, he has definitely found something he is passionate about!

When we were presented with the opportunity to have Liam participate in the 50 Yard Challenge sponsored by Raising Men Lawn Care Service, it seemed like this would be the perfect way for him to give back to our community by doing something he loves. Liam is currently in the process of mowing 50 lawns free of charge for the elderly, those with disabilities, veterans, single parents, and other who may need assistance. A local landscaper has generously donated the use of a mower for Liam during this challenge. We have had many people reach out asking about how they can help and wanting to contribute to Liam's challenge. We thought this would be a great way to begin putting money aside for things like gas and other equipment, and eventually a small trailer for him (it's getting hard to keep lifting the mower into the back of the truck).

We are so appreciative for everyone's support and Liam is loving being able to help others in our community.
