Support Liam’s Fight Against Leukemia (Round Two)
Liam Levoit is a brave and bright teenage boy from Costa Mesa, CA who loves playing sports, the trumpet, and making everyone around him smile. A few summers back on July 25, 2023, the Levoit family received the call every parent dreads, Liam’s bloodwork showed dangerously high white blood cell counts, and his pediatrician told them to rush to Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) for further testing.
Within hours, doctors diagnosed B-cell ALL Leukemia, and Liam began aggressive chemotherapy right away. After weeks in the ICU and months of difficult treatments, his cancer finally went into remission. The family was relieved to be moved to the oncology wing, surrounded by the incredible CHOC team who guided them through the first fight.
Sadly, just as hope began to return, Liam’s cancer has relapsed. These past few weeks, the Levoit family learned that the leukemia is back. Liam is once again at CHOC undergoing procedures and has started an intense 30-day chemotherapy protocol, followed by months of continued treatment through March, including a potential bone marrow transplant from either his dad or his sister.
This setback is devastating, but the Levoit’s are determined to fight again and they need our community’s help more than ever.
Your donations will help cover medical bills, medications, and essential living expenses, allowing the family to focus fully on Liam’s care and recovery. Every contribution, no matter the amount, makes a difference in lightening their load and showing them they’re not alone in this battle.
Thank you all.
