This appeal is for my cousin Liam who is 21 years old. He had found a lump in July and the doctors started to investigate. In August we found out he had testicular cancer therefore an operation to remove the tumour followed days after the diagnosis. However, there was more to come. More tests and scans revealed that he also had two tumours in the brain, one in the lung and one in the abdomen. The doctors rushed to start his treatment immediately and since September he has been having three weeks chemo treatments out of every four. This dramatically changed his life and many people around him.

Liam is kind hearted, caring and very motivated in life. He is massively into sports and healthy living as he went to the gym and played in numerous basketball teams throughout his teenage years. He has has a great sense of humour which means he is fun to be around and has a large amount of friends. He is studying graphic design at university and although he has had to spend most his time in hospital, this has not stopped his determination to study. He has not asked for any extensions on his work and is fully up to date with all of his deadlines. I am absolutely amazed by his dedication and persistence to get a degree. Many people in life let things knock them down but Liam is so strong and his boldness to carry on is an inspiration.

Liam is in love with his fiancé Danielle and just like how he is not letting cancer stop his plans with university, he is also not letting cancer stop his marriage plans. I cannot explain how proud I am of Liam with words, that is why I would like to take action and do a parachute jump to raise money so that he can have the perfect day that he deserves. Although he has been studying through distance learning, he has not been able to continue working to earn the money that is needed to save for his wedding; therefore I would like to raise as much money as possible so that he can afford to get married. A small amount will go towards the parachute jump and everything beyond that will go directly to Liam.

My heart goes out to Liam and his family and friends as we can only imagine how hard this is. Please help us raise money for him; any donations will be massively appreciated.
