My name is Liam Stigora, and I am a Junior in High School. I have the amazing opportunity to travel with my father on a missions trip to Zambia and Ethiopia from January 24th-February 6th, 2022.

The opportunity presented itself just a week ago when the Trinity Fellowship Pastor's College in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, needed an emergency substitute teacher and asked my dad to consider coming to teach. My dad had visited Zambia and Ethiopia in 2013 with Covenant Mercies, an organization we are involved with that works to break the cycle of poverty in the developing world through orphan care and child sponsorship. This work is very dear to my family and me, and we have sponsored different children in both countries over the years. In 2013, we collected soccer cleats and sent them over to a local youth soccer team. Now, I have the opportunity to go and observe all that God is doing in the sponsorship programs in both Zambia and Ethiopia; be present for the opening celebration of a new elementary school building in Ndola, Zambia; visit our partner churches, and participate in ministry with Trinity Fellowship Church and Pastor's College. I am excited to see how the Lord is working through the church in these countries and to join the efforts to care for those in need.

Please pray for me as we travel. The trip has developed rapidly, and many details need to come together in a very short time. Please pray for safe and smooth travels. Pray for my dad as he teaches. And pray that God would meet me and give me a growing view of how his kingdom is advancing throughout the world.
