Liam was a caring father with a love of his family, sports and fast cars. Friends will tell you that he was “unlike anyone you’ve evet met before, a true delight to be around, a true marvel of the world.
Liam's condition had been gradually deteriorating throughout the years but he had fought strong and found ways to manage. He was confident in his ability to overcome obstacles and saw his illness as no different.
Over the past year his condition gradually deteriorated. He spent many days and nights in hospitals and rehab centers, but through it all he was confident that he could overcome.
Then came March, which would mark the beginning of a terrible period of time in which he would spend the next few months glued to a hospital bed, fighting for even the ability to use his own hands. Liam had lost control over his entire body and had become a shell of his former self.
Although, through it all he was still confident in his ability to overcome. He spoke of days when he would walk again, and even said proudly that one day he would run again.
We have no doubt in or minds that he truly believed these words. Liam was a man of great optimism and a spirit which would never succumb. It wasn't until his final days that he finally recognized the severity of the situation.
His son reflects on one moment in particular when his father looked him in the eyes and said, "I'm not okay." Liam did not plan for death, it was not something that had crossed his mind.
He did not believe his condition could lead to his demise, but sadly it did. Liam had not organized anything financially for his passing, and he had no sort of insurance.
We ask that you take these factors into consideration and help his family during these troubling times.
Funds collected will be going towards the Liam Patrick Quinn Sr memorial service and the family in these times of need.
