Hi my name is Karen and most of you are aware that I lost my son Liam in February 2022 he had just turned 30years old. Liam was diagnosed with stage 2 Hodgkins Lymphoma and he faced 6months of intense chemotherapy treatment which he did with such strength and bravery, a true inspiration, he will forever be our warrior!
Liam’s inspiration and drive, especially when he battled the most difficult moments, was to be fit and healthy so together he and Lauren could welcome their baby boy into this world
Devastatingly this wasn’t to be and Liam sadly lost his life to a rare reaction to the chemotherapy and never got to meet his son Finn
It’s been over 2years now since we lost Liam and the heartbreak and pain never gets any easier our lives will NEVER ever be the same again
So along with my niece Abbey-Mai we will be doing a skydive on 7th September in honour of Liam, to raise money for both the Lilac Centre, where Liam was treated, and to Lymphoma Action, in hope that ongoing research will help prevent this devastation from happening to another family!
