Hi,

My name is Liam Marrison. I am a 22-year-old professional Canadian squash player. I am currently ranked #150 in the world for professional men's singles.

I started this GoFundMe because squash is a small sport and I do not have much financial support to manage playing on the professional tour properly. I currently train twice a day and six times a week, while working three different jobs seven days a week. I have to work a lot to fund my own squash career and this makes training difficult as I am never fully recovering from each session.

During the pandemic, I saved a lot of money to go train overseas and leave Canada. It was the best decision I could have made for my squash game and I instantly shot up the rankings from #900-#150. The training for professional squash in Canada is currently not very strong and funding is quite difficult to come by.

I am currently back in Canada and would genuinely appreciate any type of help to get me back overseas so I can maximize my potential in squash and follow my ultimate dream of one day becoming a top 50 player in the world.
