Hi All

I am Liam A Hutchinson, a 19-year-old Barbadian Born Under 23 Cyclist, and a member of team Fugen, a local domestic cycling club. I have been cycling for the past 2 years. Cycling is my passion; my goal is to become a top Elite Cyclist.

My mission:

• Is to be active, be fit, and be healthy

• To build character, discipline, and love of sport.

• To proudly represent Barbados on the International arena.

• To remove economic barriers to participation in cycling.

I feel as though people from the Caribbean Region are underrepresented on the world stage and this is something that I’m hoping to change. I’m eligible to represent Barbados this year in the Under 23 Category,

The funds raised will greatly assist me with the expenses related to the below 2024 schedule and additional gear. In addition to training exposure I am undertaking during July in the United Kingdom.

• Barbados National U23 Road Individual Time Trial and the National Road Race.

Barbados Championships June 22nd and 23rd 2024.

• Tour de Bim 3 stage event. September 26th to 29th

• Tobago Cycling Classic. October 1st to 6th

• Caribbean Cycling Championships in Guyana October 2024

One of the most important steps in the planning process for a successful career is obtaining sponsorship to help offset some of the associated cost of the sport. With your support my hope is that we can work towards better representation and equal opportunity for aspiring cyclists from our region.
