Liam heart surgery

Hi my name is Thresa and my step son Liam is having heart surgery 8/9/2022 at Boston children hospital 3 1/2 hours from home.

Background on Liam situation about a year ago April he was trying out for Lacrosse and ended up at emergent care in Malta Ny for bad heart palpitations and almost to the point of syncope. There they found him in ventricular tachycardia and troponin level was elevated and transported to Albany medical pediatric ICU where they did work up and cardiologist started him on medication. After several cardiac home monitoring and still no definitive diagnosis he was referred to Boston children hospital . Dr. Kane did a zoom to let us know he could possibly have hypotrophic cardiomyopathy and would like an MRI . MRI did not show anything as well but symptoms continued so they have decided to treat the symptoms with surgery with pediatric cardiac surgeon Dr. Douglas Mah at Boston children hospital. Due to travel, loss of work and medical bills we are thankful for anyone who can help and prayers are always welcome
