Help Liam's optician tuition fund!

Hi, my name is Liam (they/he), and I'm entering the second half of my two year program at Franklin Cummings Tech (aka BFIT)!
Franklin Cummings Tech has the state of Massachusetts' only opticianry degree program. I've had a phenomenal time learning under some of the most respected opticians in America; have had the opportunity to help tutor my classmates and help them grow; and am excited to have earned the first of three certifications I will need to become a liscened optician in Massachusetts!
Returning to school as an adult learner has been hard. I have managed to maintain a 3.8 average GPA while working full time: far better than I ever did in my teens and twenties. Unfortunately, I have just learned that the tution reimbursement program at my employer will not be able to cover my next semester. I am currently operating under a student liscence. If I am unable to return to school, I won't just be set back in earning my liscence: I will no longer be able to work as an optician.
My goal is to raise the full amount needed for my next semester in just under two months. It's nerve wracking to ask for help, but it needs to be done.
My mission as an optician is to help others see and be seen. In the year and a half I have been in the field, and the twenty years I have worn glasses, I have never met another transgender optician. Trans folks have a tendancy to avoid two things: healthcare providers and mirrors. I want to help my peers feel comfortable and confident in who they are; both by meeting their vision needs and helping them find a style that speaks to their truth.
If you have a few dollars to spare, I would be grateful! Please feel free to share my campaign with your friends as well!
