Liam DaFoe Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Liam was on his way back from fishing with a friend when he was involved in a life-threatening car accident on May 18, 2024. Liam’s car was struck when he drove into the path of an oncoming commercial vehicle. Liam is incredibly lucky to be alive.
Liam sustained multiple serious injuries including a severe traumatic brain injury, spinal injuries, and fractures to his face, ribs, and pelvis. At this time, Liam remains in the Pediatric ICU at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.
Liam is a straight A student in his Junior year at Dewitt High School and he hopes to be a history teacher one day. He loves fishing, camping, Legos, online gaming, and tending to his many aquariums. Liam enjoys spending time with his friends and his girlfriend. He is a kind and gentle big brother to his little brother and sister. We are so very grateful to still have Liam with us, and we can’t wait to get him home.
Liam has an extremely long road to recovery ahead of him. He will need significant rehabilitation after he leaves the hospital. We want to thank everyone who has been reaching out to offer support to our family. We are asking for donations from friends, family, and his community to help support him as we travel this path.
If you don't have any funds to spare, please keep Liam in your prayers, healing thoughts, intentions, etc.
