Liam Bracamontes Kidney Warrior

Liam Bracamontes is 16 years old is on stage 5 End Renal Failure disease, 
Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Liam is on hemodialysis four days week and has a g tube for feeding eight hours daily.  Liam also takes eleven medicines and two shots daily.  He can only walk a few steps . Last month, Liam was hospitalized with a peritonitis infection and after that had the surgery to change his catheter from pd to hemodialysis.   The goal is to get a kidney transplant in the next 12 months he has a living kidney donor. 

The Doctor's plan is for Liam to get stable on hemodialysis, gain more weight, have more appetite and eat , control his blood pressure keep working with the psychologist for his transplant.   

It's been three and half years on dialysis .   When he gets the kidney transplant, his father Leo or mom Heather have to stay with him at Stanford Children's Hospital in San Jose, CA for three months.  Leo worked at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas for 15 years where he was a Banquet Garden Manger Chef.  He recently lost his job on March 17, 2020; loosing his health insurance plan as of September 30th of this year.  After which, Liam's parents will only have Medicare for Liam.
