This past June, Briana Ponzini-Britt 29-year-old, wife of the 15u Long Island Rebels Coach Paul Britt, was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor.

Briana was a full-time teacher at St. Mary’s in East Islip as well as a substitute teacher before she had to leave teaching due to previous pregnancy complications. Briana has been out of work for over 2 years as her and her husband Paul continued their dream to start a family.

This past June, Briana and her husband welcomed a healthy baby girl Blakely. Tragically, shortly after giving birth Briana was admitted to the hospital and diagnosed with a rare grade 4 DIPG brain tumor. DIPG is an aggressive and inoperable brain tumor that is very difficult to treat.

With a newborn daughter, mounting medical expenses and a long road of treatment ahead for Briana, we ask for your support for the Ponzini-Britt family. On behalf of the Long Island Rebels Family, we would like to thank everyone for your continued prayers and support during this very difficult time.
