Support Branches DVS!

Branches Domestic Violence Shelter was established as a non-profit agency in 1980 in Huntington, West Virginia. Here at Branches, we work to empower the increasing number of victims and their families to break the cycle of domestic violence in our area. Aside from providing emergency shelter,  we offer legal assistance, counseling, and case management to ready our clients to become independent. Currently Branches has one operational housing shelter and four outreach offices located in adjoining counties, Mason, Putnam, Wayne, & Lincoln, to provide additional resources. All services are free of charge.

In the last 35 years, Branches has impacted lives of thousands of women and men alike. But to keep making a difference, WE NEED YOUR HELP.

Due to the financial strain that accompanies maintaining a 24/7 emergency shelter, Branches has accumulated a substantial line of credit that must be paid off in order to continue providing the lifesaving services that the Branches staff has been offering for so many years.

Please support Branches in our efforts to keep our doors open and continue being a supportive presence in our community! Anything you can give can help!

Thank you!
