Livermore High Baseball

Dear Friends, Family and Alumni of Livermore High Cowboys Baseball,

            My name is Dave Perotti and I am the Head Baseball Coach for the Pokes Baseball team.  We have adopted the name Pokes because it ties us to the rich history we have in our school’s 125 years.  Poke Pride was the “battle cry” for many years here at the school and the baseball team embraces that tradition.

 

             We are a self funded program because of the budget issues in the state of California.  This means it is up to the program to raise all funds necessary for our three levels.  Here is a breakdown of our annual costs:

                        Uniforms:                              $2500

                        Field equipment/projects:   $1500

                        Balls (practice/game):          $2500

                        Game/practice equipment:  $1500

                        Field maintenance:               $1500

                        Technology (scorebook):      $500

            As you can see this is quite expensive and this does not even include league fees and other costs.  We would not survive without the generous donations from people like you.  Our program has been quite successful over the years (league titles and NCS Championship titles) and I do believe it is helped by the support of the community and people like you.
