In Memory of Brandon Michaud

Hello, My name is Marissa Martin. I've been friends with Brandon since we were 4 years old. Our mothers are also best friends. We were all heart broken to get a call Monday morning 2/2/2015 that Brandon had passed away a little before 1 am. Brandon was riding his bike home from Wal-Mart when he was hit by a 19 year old young man in a car. He called 911 and performed CPR but unfortunately Brandon passed away before help arrived.

Brandon was like my brother. One of the most genuine people and as kind hearted as they come. He loved to make people laugh. He loved to have a good time and tell me all about his mess ups while I would shake my head and say, "Brandon Brandon Brandon" and he would laugh and say, "I know I know". I loved him through it all. Just like a real brother I loved him unconditionally and would come to his defense if anyone ever said anything about him throughout our whole life. He was some what of dare devil and didn't always think things through. After he would say, "Ya I know I shouldn't have done that". I'm going to miss his crazy stories, his laugh, him pulling up to my house on his bike, him always having a beer and cigarette in hand. I'll always remember people used to tell him that he reminded them of Jim Carey from Dumb and Dumber and he loved it and would always do bits from the movie and he was actually really good at it. I'll miss our moms having to take a million pictures of us at every mile stone and event.

He left behind his parents, John & Valerie along with his brother Brian and sister Summer (dog). Brandon had just moved to Colorado Springs three weeks ago. He had just got accepted to attend school the Saturday before he passed and was also working on getting  a job. He didn't have transportation and had just got the bike that same Saturday. He was really trying to get his life in order. Since Brandon passed away in Colorado away from family, there are more costs besides the funeral. They need to pay to have his belongings shipped back along with Brandon himself. We would really appreciate any help we can get. If you are not able to help financially, we would love for you to share any memories or stories you have of Brandon. As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time and appreciate all the love and support. If you've had the priveledge of knowing John, Val, or Brian, you know that they are the most kind hearted and loving people. They also appreciate all the support and kind words.
