Save Our Family Home

Donation protected

This campaign is to raise as much as we can by 11/24 to stop the foreclosure.

We hope and pray for any kind support, whether it be donating, helping spread the word to raise funds, saying prayers, or sharing encouraging words. I'm sorry this is so sudden - we must work quickly to raise the funds before the foreclosure date.

It is not often I ask for help, and it hurts my heart to have to resort to this, but my family's situation is at a critical stage. On November 25, our home of almost 15 years is going up for foreclosure. Losing this house will be devastating. We will have to find homes for our two cats and two dogs which are four members of our family. I worry about my youngest brother dealing with losing the house and his beloved pets at the same time. I used to dream about having kids and bringing them here to swing, run, and play in the woods just as I and my three brothers did.

Our financial trouble has been a struggle for several years, and recently with college loans to pay, it's worsened. There is only one source of income, and it is my dad earning it. He is amazing - he was diagnosed with arthritis in his feet and hands a year ago, but he continues to work so hard and such long hours just to keep us afloat. He never complains. The stress and pressure to have enough money for groceries, bills, and other expenses are killing him slowly - mentally and physically. Especially when in the short term, there's no affording the dental and doctor visits and procedures that a couple of us need.

All my brothers were in school - two in college, one in middle school. However, one of them had to drop out of college recently because we can't afford it. My dad is crushed because he feels a college education is a necessary part of becoming an adult and being successful in life.

In 2003, my mom had an accident when a doctor messed up a nerve block. She had a small stroke and now has permanent nerve damage and chronic pain. She is unable to work, but tries her hardest to find ways to make money with her art and computer skills, but she rarely earns anything. If she does, it's usually enough to take the family for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants IHop or Cracker Barrel.

I am now married and my husband and I are having a baby girl in March. It's so hard to help when I barely have enough for my own growing family - which absolutely kills me.

I know God has a purpose for everything we go through and thankfully we are all Christians and have deep faith. My family trusts in Him no matter how bad the situation gets.

We appreciate any support given! Thank you and God Bless!
