Legacy Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & KING'S BBQ in Sydney are raising funds for the victims of the tragic, worst in 80 years floods that have already claimed the lives of over 140 people, left thousands injured and over 500,000 people displaced from their homes in the state of Rio Grande do Sul (South Brazil).

A lot of help has been provided to the affected during the first days, such as voluntary rescue patrols and donation of food and medication. We are unable to physically help but raising these funds together will go a long way in providing vital support to the victims.

Our support

Our support is intended for the aftermath of the floods, when the media might not be so strongly supporting anymore. The people in the affected areas will need building materials for re-construction of their homes, shelter to survive in the meantime, essential items and food while unable to home-cook their meals.

Fundraiser BBQ

As a thank you for your support, no matter how big or small, we would like to invite you for a BBQ organised by the Brazilian community in the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

When: Sunday 26 May 2024 | 12pm

Where: 22 Orchard Rd, Brookvale NSW 2100
