LGBTQ+ Stories That Need to Be Read
At Abecedaria Editoras, we believe books can change lives. For years, we have been publishing stories that amplify diverse voices and invite us to imagine a more just and inclusive world— because they are written from the sensitivity and authenticity of young LGBTQ+ authors.
Today, we need your help to print three books that are both a cry for freedom and an act of resistance:
Radiografía de un cuerpo sin etiqueta (X-ray of a Body Without a Label) – a deep and poetic look at identity beyond binary categories.
Huyendo de un final que ya conozco (Running Away from an Ending I Already Know) – an intense and powerful story written in gender-neutral Spanish by a non-binary and asexual activist. La tentación de Rosa (Rosa’s Temptation) – a provocative narrative exploring suspense and pleasure through the perspective of an outstanding asexual writer.
These books are more than literature: they are spaces of encounter, mirrors for those seeking to see themselves, and bridges of understanding for families, educators, and communities.
Our Goal
We need to raise $8,000 USD to cover:
• Printing 300 copies of each book
• Professional design and layout
• Distribution to bookstores and book fairs
• Promotion in cultural and educational spaces
Why Your Support Matters
In our region, LGBTQ+ stories are still scarce and often made invisible. With your support, we can put these books in the hands of young people seeking representation, families who need to understand, and individuals who deserve to feel seen and accompanied.
How You Can Help
1. Donate what you can: every contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to our goal.
2. Share this campaign on your social media.
3. Invite your friends to join this collective effort.
Let’s Make These Stories Travel Farther!
Thank you for believing in the power of books. With your help, we can keep writing, printing, and sharing literature that transforms lives.
