LG&M Family’s Funeral Expense Fund
Donation protected
One of our own has suffered immeasurable loss, in life and in 2020 -- a year that has been rife with challenge and change for all of us. It is always humbling and hard to ask for help, and it’s especially so for our friend, our rock, and everyone’s beloved “mama”, Rayner Jackson (LG&M). We have started this fundraiser to help Rayner’s family offset funeral expenses after the unexpected loss of her favorite nephew, Jerry Taylor, to a heart attack Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
Jerry had just turned 50 in April. He lived for and loved his family, music, art, dogs, and his career as a graphic designer and marketing manager. Jerry was a gifted artist, excelling in pen and ink line art. He was also an excellent photographer and was fortunate enough to incorporate this passion into making a living in the pickle and pepper business. Jerry was an avid sports fan, forever in support of the Clemson Tigers (for whom his father played), Kentucky Wildcats, and Pittsburgh Steelers. Jerry also enjoyed fishing and gardening, appreciated vintage cars, and attended concerts whenever possible having developed a love for live music at a young age when his Aunt Rayner took him to see Boston for his first of many concerts they attended together.
Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry T. Taylor, Sr., and is survived by his loving mother, Sharron Leahy, adoring sister, Leigh Carli, as well as niece, Alyssa, and nephew, Dominic, in addition to many aunts and uncles. Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew him, worked with him, and loved him. If you have the means to help with funeral expenses, it is tremendously appreciated. ❤
