Leaders of the Free World: Ghana
Leaders of the Free World (LFW) is an international experiential learning and leadership development program aimed at social intervention for young black men. The program focuses on using the LFW curriculum, mentorship, and international experience to increase self-efficacy and improve achievement outcomes in participants.
In the summer of 2016 the LFW team will be traveling to Ghana, West Africa. (July 23- August 8)
LFW is a unique social impact concept, which combines global engagement with social intervention while creating access to a network of peer mentors.
The program will provide international exposure to young men of color while expanding each participant's leadership capacity. The LFW curriculum promotes consciousness and self-awareness while targeting social and psychological barriers to success. LFW’s goal is to create a network of leaders whose development impacts their own lives and their communities; grooming the next generation of changemakers, entrepreneurs, and mentors.
