Hello friends! As you probably know by now, I bring 40(ish) high school students to New York City every spring for an Arts Education trip. We spend the week visiting art museums, attending Broadway shows, and seeing all the sight New York has to offer. While my trip is supported and approved by my school, it is technically an independent trip and is not eligible for any school fundraising.

Each year I work hard to provide financial aid to families in need, so every student has the opportunity to go on this incredible trip. This year I have the highest number of families requesting aid that I have ever received; my goal is to support at least five families by covering half the cost of the trip.

My hope is that this year most of this money will be raised through fundraisers like art shows and paint parties, and I will not be relying on this platform as much as I did previously (due to Covid restrictions). The first deposit for families, though, is due October 1, and I do not have time to throw a fundraiser together before that deadline!

I do NOT need to raise all of the money at once, as the deposits follow a payment schedule. The final deposit is due by February 21, 2024. I will probably be emailing/posting several times over the next few months asking for donations, so I apologize in advance for any annoyance. I promise, this is for a great cause!
