Leza's Fight to Recover
Donation protected
Leza is fighting the most important battle of her life - the battle to recover. She is only 37 years old, and has been a lifetime severe diabetic. On 07/06/17, she had an apparent heart attack, which lead to lots of testing, where it was discovered that she had a large grouping of previously undetected clots in her arteries.
Leza now holds the record for being the youngest person ever at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to ever require an emergency QUADRUPLE BYPASS open heart surgery, which she survived on 07/10/17.
We are an intensely proud couple, but right now, we cannot do it on our own. Her health has been acting up and Leza was currently looking for a job, while I, her husband, have one that is simply not good enough to be able to cover the recovery, our bills, mortgage, vehicle payments / expenses, and the required conditions during the period while she is medically unable to work for the next 12 months, according to her doctors. Between medical bills, medications, piling up home-related bills, and the general cost of living, we are asking anyone who can help to please do so, and to spread this as far and as wide as you can. We need whatever help we can get, because right now, we can't help ourselves to provide the right environment for her to recover the way she needs to.
I could give you a breathtaking, heart-breaking sob story, but I'd like both Leza and myself to keep as much of our dignity as possible here, but we wouldn't ask unless it was LITERALLY a life or death situation. We're definitely troopers, but we can't just manifest funding out of thin air. The money raised by GoFundMe will be used in the immediate future to provide the circumstances to provide a stress free, sterile and sanitized environment for her to be able to recover while not having to worry about the added stresses of bills or living / medical expenses.
There are other ways to help as well, but right now the immediate need is definitely financial. This woman has never in her life gotten lucky with her health, and for once, I would just like to see her be ok. She is one majorly bad-ass woman, and she inspires the hell out of me, and I hope this inspires you as well. Again, thank you for reading.
