Hi friends, family, and kind strangers,

We’re Leyl & Jona, a T4T couple who found each other in the most unexpected, miraculous way. Jona, who wandered across Germany, and Leyl, a refugee, both searching for safety, for home, for something real. Our paths crossed completely by chance. Or fate. Or something softer.

What started as a right swipe turned into a love that has carried us through distance, illness, survival, growth, and healing. We never imagined we’d find this, but here we are: soulmates, holding on, against all odds.

We’re getting married (!!!) and hoping to do it in a way that’s simple, meaningful, and ours. A quiet ceremony, matching rings, and a small honeymoon to rest in the joy we’ve fought so incredibly hard to reach.

Because of the complexities of being a refugee in Germany and the way local systems question the legitimacy of our love, we have to marry abroad. On top of that, Leyl is disabled, which makes travel and logistics even more costly and complicated. We’re doing everything we can to make this happen, but we could really use a little help.
