Lexi's Journey from Hope to Healing

I am the brother of Alexis (Lexi) Thompson Perinetti. After 3 years of struggling with an autoimmune lung disease, Lex underwent a lung transplant at New York Presbyterian Hospital. She has had an amazing recovery and for the first time in three years, is not on supplemental oxygen. As you might imagine, this great treatment comes with a high financial burden. Many expenses are insurance covered, but even the small percentage that are not generate considerable personal expense of thousands of dollars a month.
