Lexi's Cancer Funds and Family Expenses

Hey everyone. Last week my fiance had a routine surgical procedure done to remove part of her thyroids. Her recovery had been going well until the doctor called us today to inform us that cancer was discovered in the removed tissue.

In two weeks, Lexi will be undergoing another treatment to remove the remainder of her thyroids- a full thyroidectomy- and additional radiation afterwards.

While our insurance will cover the medical costs (too a good extent at least) we simply can't afford the living expenses due to lack of work. I'm currently awaiting job placement from my union and have already cashed out my 401k from my previous employer. At this point, we have nothing left in our savings to handle the additional few weeks of missed work. We're asking for anything that could help us out.
