We want her to go, but we need your help!
How many of us wish we'd just put ourselves out there and tried - just to see what would happen. At worst, you might have failed, but at best . . . you might have earned a trip to LONDON to be in the New Year's Day Parade!
While at UDA Dance Camp this summer, Lexi put herself out there and tried out for the All-American team, a team consisting of dancers from all over the country that tried out at dance camps all summer long. She didn't think she'd make it, but she tried anyways - what was there to lose. To her surprise she was invited to a once-in-a-lifetime trip to dance in the New Years Day Parade in London, England over Christmas 2016.
We couldn't be more proud of the wonderful, hardworking, loving girl we've raised and we would love to be able to send her on this trip - as a reward for all she is and does.
The all-inclusive trip has a price tag of $3,225, before taxes, passport fees, and personal expenses. This would see Lexi into London from December 26, 2016 - January 2, 2017. During that time she would get to see the sites, practice and train, and perform in the annual New Years Day Parade on January 1, 2017.
However, the cost of the trip is outside our means. To make this trip affordable Alexis has given up Christmas, birthday, and graduation gifts, along with putting money from working, babysitting, and her own fundraising towards the expenses. But that's still not enough. This is where you all come in.
Its our hope that each of you can donate just a few dollars - if everyone gave even $10 she's be on her way. The final payment is due on November 1, 2016, so this page will be active through then.
We so appreciate your best wishes for our daughter and hope that we can, together, help her make this dream come true.
