Hi, I'm Lexi. In late September, my father passed away due to complications with cancer, and due to an ongoing dispute with his second wife, I and my siblings are stuck in a state of limbo regarding his estate and a predatory will. With his children having to pay for his funeral out of pocket, and our having to hire lawyers to argue our case in court, there's not much of a safety net to go around. At this time, my roommate and I are struggling to keep up with monthly expenses and the costs of medication both for our mental health and for HRT, and I'm the sole source of income during an ongoing job hunt.

Bills are piling up, rent's expensive, and attempts at securing additional sources of income have hit multiple roadblocks every step of the way: I'm starting this GoFundMe to try and be sure that we stay safe, fed, and housed during this stretch where all we can seem to do is batten down the hatches, wait, and see.
