Lexi Dale was beautiful, energetic and compassionate graduate of HBA. She brought joy to all who knew her. She lit up the room with her smile.  Lexi was killed by a car her first week at Florida International University.  We will never forget her.  As a tribute to her life, HBA had created the Lexi Dale Scholarship. Each year this goes to a senior who displays dedication to academics, a positive outlook on life and compassion for others. 

The 2020 recipient of this award is Thy "Tea" Nguyen an international student from Vietnam. Tea has been an outstanding student her two years at HBA.  She is a gifted mathematician who has been known to show her teachers an alternative way to solve problems. She plans to study Aerospace Engineering at UC Irvine. Due to COVID-19, her parents' business has taken a downturn. Tea, who never asks for anything, could really use financial assistance.
