To all who loved Lex and who Lex loved:

The world has lost an incredible light in our dear friend, Alex (Lex) Paul. After a brave battle with cancer, one which he fought every-single-day with strength, humor, dignity, endless hope and positivity, Lex has tragically passed away while surrounded by his family and friends.

The world is darker without our Lex.

In his short 39 years, Lex led an incredible life. He was a gravitational force. He pulled countless people together - gifting each immeasurable joy and laughter with his unmatched wit, incomparable kindness and unyielding love for life. He had a deep passion for Judaism and his beloved Israel. In pursuing this passion, paired with his lifelong commitment to charitable work, Lex truly made the world around him a better, more loving place.

Lex's incredible life has left an incredible legacy. This legacy includes his beautiful family; wife Jacqui, and two little boys, Tzuk, 10, and Dov, 8. After everything Lex gave to those around him, us, it is our responsibility to honor his memory by helping protect and cherish the love he left behind. With our hearts full of sorrow, Jacqui, Tzuk, and Dov need now - and will forever need - to be loved and cherished by all of us.

We ask everyone’s help to ensure Lex’s family is looked after. Any amount you choose to give will go towards supporting his sons’ Jewish education and future. We owe it to this incredible man - and the blessings his life bestowed upon each person he knew during his brief time - to make certain that his legacy is protected, safe, and nurtured.

We will be eternally grateful. And please, send this announcement to anyone in your circle who is willing to help. Though our friend has passed, this incredible deed will help keep him in our hearts forever.

Know, at the end of his life Lex made peace with knowing his time was about to end. His only concern was for the wellbeing of his wife and boys after he was gone. Let us honor one of the finest, rarest humans we have been fortunate to have known.
