On Monday (2/17), around 6pm, my mom was taking the trash out to the end of the driveway and was approached by a male who asked her if she has seen his little girl. After she said no, he reached out, stabbed her, and then fled on foot northward. Luckily, after she was stabbed, she kicked the guy who then dropped his cell phone. She grabbed the phone and took it inside before he could come back for it. My brave mother is now in her fight for recovery.


Due to the fact that my mother was able to grab his cell phone, in addition to an abundance amount of information provided by the wonderful Lewisville community, the perpetrator was apprehended by Tuesday evening.


I wanted to put this together for my parents to help with some of the up front medical costs associated with this undeserved act of violence. They are not on social media and are so humble that if they knew I was doing this, they would absolutely tell me to take it down. However, with everything they are going through now, I know that any sort of donation would ultimately be appreciated so much.
